Join other Visiopharm users for a comprehensive introduction to our software, including both theory and practical exercises. Design APPs or protocols specific to your projects. If you prefer a virtual classroom setting with hands-on instruction, these courses are perfect for you.
Online training is conducted through a web-based, interactive session on your computer. You and your trainer will work together one-on-one, typically for 1-2 hours. You will explore different aspects of the software and work on relevant projects.
Onsite training brings our expertise to you. We offer a tailored training program for one or more groups of users. Use it to quickly onboard new users and boost their proficiency, or to help current users expand their knowledge and capabilities rapidly.
We offer various courses for different levels and foci. To enroll in the Professional course, you must have a basic understanding of the Visiopharm software and APP development, such as completing the Beginner‘s course.

In our two-day Beginner’s course, you’ll receive a comprehensive introduction to the Visiopharm software, including importing slides, viewing images, and building basic APPs and analysis pipelines.
Day one will cover a general introduction to the software and basic workflows, while day two will focus on APP development and Deep Learning applications. The course consists of a mix of lectures, exercises, and demonstrations.
No prior knowledge is required to attend this course, making it ideal for new or relatively new users who will be working with APP development. However, more experienced users will also find this course beneficial as it provides overviews of common workflows, best practices, and strategies through a range of helpful examples.
AgendaIn our one-day Professional course, you’ll receive a deeper dive into the Visiopharm software, focusing on the application of various classification methods, segmentation improvement and clean-up, and optimization of APPs.
This course covers pre-processing features, use of different classifiers, and evaluating AI APP performance. It is a mix of lectures, exercises, and demonstrations.
General knowledge working within Visiopharm is expected for this course, including running and developing APPs. The course is ideal for users who would like to expand their knowledge and analytical capabilities within Visiopharm.
AgendaIn our one-day Phenoplex course, you’ll receive a comprehensive introduction to the Phenoplex capabilities and learn how to get the most out of low and high plex images.
The course covers cell segmentation, the Phenoplex guided workflow, spatial analysis, and the Data Exploration and Q/C tool. The course consists of a mix of lectures, exercises, and demonstrations.
General knowledge working within Visiopharm is expected including running and developmentof APPs. The course is ideal for users looking to expand their Phenoplex understanding and range of application.

Global Director – Professional Services
Justin is based in Mequon, Wisconsin. He holds degrees in Chemical and Biological Engineering and Physiology from the University of Colorado and brings several years of experience in image analysis and digital pathology. He is involved in various aspects of Visiopharm support, including technical troubleshooting, installations, deployments, training on the Visiopharm platform, and custom APP development.
Director of Professional Services – Clinical
Torbjørn is based in Hørsholm, Denmark and holds a MSc in Medicine and Technology. He brings several years of experience within the digital pathology field and customer support. He is involved in various aspects of Visiopharm support including technical troubleshooting, installations, deployments and training on the Visiopharm platform.
Solution Support Specialist
Brenna is based in the Durham, North Carolina and holds a M.S. in Ecology from Florida Institute of Technology. Throughout her career, Brenna has 10 years of experience in biological imaging across various platforms and brings several years of image analysis experience. She is responsible for developing Visiopharm’s e-learning content, and is involved in training and support for Visiopharm customers.
Solution Support Specialist
Helena is based in Hørsholm, Denmark and holds an M.Sc. in Health and Informatics from the University of Copenhagen. She brings several years of experience with image analysis. In addition to instructing our Academy courses, she is responsible for managing and organizing online training for both new and current Visiopharm customers, as well as providing general technical support.
Solution Support Specialist
Oliver is based in Hørsholm, Denmark and holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He has several years of experience in image analysis across multiple modalities. His work is focused on supporting the implementation and maintenance of our image analysis software in both clinical and research environments.
IT Solutions Architect
Raymond is a proud Texan based out of Austin, with over 20 years of IT experience at SMB and enterprise levels and roles from frontline support to Director of IT positions. He is involved in all things related to installation and deployment of the Visiopharm platform no matter the environment: physical, virtual, or cloud. His diverse IT background also allows him to perform general IT consulting services, making him a “one stop shop” for all of a Visiopharm customer’s IT needs.
Application Support Specialist
Jonathan is based in Hørsholm, Denmark and holds a MSc in Human Biology. Throughout his career he has been heavily involved in microscopy workflows. He is involved in organizing online training for both new and current customers.
Application Support Specialist
Shuling is based in San Diego, California, and holds a degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering. She brings over four years of translational and early-stage drug discovery histological research experience, along with multiple years of expertise in digital pathology and image analysis across multiple platforms. At Visiopharm, Shuling brings a well-rounded view of the user’s end-to-end project needs and provides application support with a focus in Visiopharm platform training and APP development.

Thomas is based in Hørsholm, Denmark and holds a PhD within neuroscience form the University of Copenhagen. He brings more than 7 years of experience in various imaging and analysis methods. He is involved in Academy courses and training and support for Visiopharm customers.
